Hayley Nichole Williams is an American singer and songwriter, who is best known as the lead vocalist, primary songwriter, and keyboardist of the rock band Paramore. Born and raised in Mississippi, Williams moved to Franklin, Tennessee, at the age of 13 in 2002 to escape her stepfather at the time.

Throughout much of her life, Williams has identified as a Christian and regularly discusses her faith in her music. Having this in mind, Hayley is never a lesbian, Williams began dating Chad Gilbert, lead guitarist of New Found Glory. They became engaged on Christmas Day 2014. and got married in 2016. one year later they got a divorce.
As of now, Williams confirmed she and Paramore bandmate Taylor York are dating. Williams has been vocal about her experiences with depression, which caused her to briefly leave Paramore in mid-2015. In a 2019 interview, she openly discussed depression, mental health, and her divorce.
Williams had publicized her decisions against such practices as smoking, drinking, or use of recreational drugs when she was younger; she has revealed that she now drinks alcohol.
