Passion Java was born Panganai Java in the household of six children in Harare, the capital city of Zimbabwe.
He is the sixth child of Charles Java and Cristine Rambanepasi Java, both late MDC Alliance senators from Buhera.
He was raised in Chitungwiza and attended Seke 2 High School for his secondary education. He hails from Buhera Central’s Java Village.
