The last time we had new photos of Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux, it was a few weeks ago at the American Cinematheque award ceremony for Ben Stiller. Stiller can claim friendships with both parties of JustJen – Ben and Jennifer worked together on Along Came Polly, and Ben and Justin worked together on Tropic Thunder. Reportedly, Ben has been friends with both of them for years and years, and he might have even been somewhat instrumental in first introducing them or something? I don’t know, the “story” of how Justin and Jennifer first got together is so sketchball, God only knows.
Anyway, as we all know, Ben Stiller is married to Christine Taylor. I think Christine is an underrated actress, but I always got the impression that she purposefully put her career on the back burner when she married Stiller, probably because she wanted to focus on being a wife and mother, and Ben really is a power player in Hollywood. Like, Christine is angling to be the next Rita Wilson, you know? And that’s nothing to scoff at. Rita Wilson has a lot of power and pull. So, my general impression is that Christine is a nice person, maybe kind of vanilla and Betty Crocker, but that she probably works to be friendly with all of her husband’s friends. Not so much! Star Magazine says that Jennifer and Christine might kind of hate each other.
Justin Theroux is desperate for his fiancée, Jennifer Aniston, to become BFFs with Ben Stiller’s wife, Christina Taylor, but Star has learned that Jen just isn’t feeling the love.
“Justin and Ben have been pals for nearly 20 years, but Jen hasn’t liked Christina since press reports claimed they were ‘close friends’ after they were seen in Hawaii together with their men. She wonders if Christine is using her to advance her career,” tattles a source, adding Christine’s murky motive aside, Jen can’t find common ground with Ben’s conservative wife.
“Jen and Christina are just really different people,” the spy explains. “Jen feels uncomfortable around Christine, who is quite proper, and gets along better with edgy women like Chelsea Handler.”
Unfortunately, Justin is so clueless that he thinks Jen should make Christine a bridesmaid!
“Jen has been noncommittal about it,” snipes the source. “But there is no way that’s happening.”

It feels like the hate is coming more from Jennifer’s side, and Christine is being blamed for pushing a story about her alleged friendship with Jennifer. I think the story is probably mostly BS, but… it wouldn’t surprise me at all to learn that there’s more drama behind-the-scenes amongst the women of that little Hollywood Hen Party. As I’ve said before, they all socialize together all the time – it’s Aniston and Taylor and Courteney Cox and Laura Dern, Isla Fisher, Jennifer Meyer (Tobey Maguire’s wife), etc. Do the sober wives look down on Aniston and her boozehounding friendship with Chelsea Handler? Does Jennifer look down on the other women because none of their men are as hyper-groomed as Justin?
