He is nicknamed Patty Ice in the golf circles. Patrick Cantlay is an American professional golfer born March 17, 1992, in Long Beach, California.

At the amateur level, Patrick was the number one golfer in the World for 55 solid weeks winning the Palmer and Walker Cups both in 2011. After a year of supremacy, he turned professional in 2012.

Cantlay won four tournaments as a freshman at UCLA and received the Haskins Award as the best college golfer in 2011. Cantlay won his first professional tournament at the Colombia Championship in 2013.

He has seven PGA Tour victories to his credit, as well as the FedEx Cup in 2021.

In 2019, he won the President’s Cup, and in 2021, he won the Ryder Cup.
